A Warm Welcome! We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Dr. Sukanya Sompiboon, Vice President of Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, who is leading a delegation of faculty and students from the Faculty of Communication Arts and the Department of Performing Arts and Speech Communication to our department for a vibrant 3-day academic and cultural exchange.
During this exchange, the Thai faculty and students will host a Likay workshop and a live Likay performance. In return, our department will conduct a Boal workshop and invite the Thai students to watch our sophomore directing class's final showcase, Death of a Salesman. Furthermore, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) will be signed between our institutions, opening a brand-new door for cross-disciplinary collaboration in the performing arts.
We cordially invite everyone to come and experience the fascinating Likay performance brought to us by the Thai students!
